Year Two Completed

posted Jun 20, 2015, 7:41 AM by James Damon

Year two just completed with the finishing up of the baseball state championships, and we are excited to say that our numbers exceeded goals and expectations.  We planned on broadcasting 400 games and doubling our listener-ship from last year.  We covered 426 games total including football, boys & girls basketball, baseball, and softball, as well as first time ventures with volleyball, wrestling, golf, track & field, and an area promenade.  We added the KC area Game of the Week to the network, as well as the Bears All Sports Network, covering exclusive Butler events.  Our listeners surpassed 100,000 immediately following baseball, and continue to rise with the archived broadcasts.  Thanks to all who made that possible, as we continue to build and grow.

Year Two for KCMW Under Way

posted Sep 13, 2014, 1:42 PM by James Damon

Year One was a smashing success as my goals were to broadcast around 100 games.  We went wire to wire covering 228 games, amassing 24K+ listeners, covering championships in football, softball, girls & boys basketball, and baseball, and already moving to a network with multiple games each evening to close out the baseball season.

Growth continues in Year Two, as we have added the Bear Network covering a significant portion of Butler Bears sports and more.  We have two football broadcasts weekly and look at adding a third late in the year, in addition to expanded softball coverage, the first volleyball and wrestling broadcasts for the KCMW network, and extensive coverage.  Stay tuned for more announcements as the year progresses.  And thanks for helping Prepcasts-KCMW be the destination for exceptional high school sports coverage.
